    Creamy Chicken and Broccoli Pasta

    Ingredientes

    16 oz. chicken breast

    2 cups broccoli

    1.5 cups penne pasta (uncooked)

    1 tbsp olive oil

    1/2 tsp garlic powder

    1/2 tsp onion powder

    Salt (big pinch)

    Pepper (big pinch)

    ---

    1 cup half and half (or plant-based cream, heavy cream, etc)

    3 garlic cloves (finely minced)

    1/2 cup parmesan (grated)

    1 tsp chopped parsley (optional)

    Salt (to taste)

    Pepper (to taste)

    1/4 tsp sugar

    Instrucciones

    Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder. Set aside.

    Boil pasta, drain, then keep covered in pot to keep warm.

    Steam or blanch your broccoli in salted water, keep covered in pot to keep warm.

    In another pan over med heat, add 1/2 tbsp olive oil. Add chicken breasts (that have been sliced in half), sear for 5-6 minutes (until golden), and flip. Cook another 5-6 minutes (or until cooked through). Remove, and let rest.

    Turn heat down to low, wait for heat to adjust. Add 1/2 tbsp olive oil, add minced garlic. Cook for 30 seconds. Add cream, stir and let simmer 1 minute. Add parmesan, stir. Add salt, pepper, sugar, and parsley. Simmer 1 minute.

    Add pasta, mix well. Then add broccoli, and diced chicken. Mix lightly. And enjoy!
