Beef, Rice, and Broccoli Casserole

1 lb ground beef
2 cups cooked rice
2 cups broccoli florets (steamed)
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup beef broth
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ tsp dried thyme
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
½ cup chopped onion (optional)
½ cup chopped bell pepper (optional)

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. If using, add the chopped onion and bell pepper and cook until softened. Drain excess fat.
3. **Prepare Casserole Mix:**
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, steamed broccoli, and the cooked beef mixture.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
4. **Assemble Casserole:**
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
5. **Bake:**
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and the cheese is melted and golden.
6. **Serve:**
- Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
