For the Sauce:

  • 1 Tbsp Gochujaru (Korean chili flakes)

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 2 tbsp green onion sliced

  • Handful brown sugar

Optional meatball toppings:

  • Spicy mayo

  • Kicap Manis

  • Sriracha

  • Green onions

Instructions

  1. Start with the sauce. Get all those ingredients in a sauce pan and simmer for a few minutes. Set aside.

  2. Get your ground beef in a bowl. Add in all the ingredients listed. Mix up and incorporate that flavor.

  3. Form your meatballs, to whatever size makes you the happiest. Roll them in panko.

  4. Get ‘em in your air fryer basket and spray with oil. Air fry @400 for 13 minutes or until golden brown crispy.

  5. Once you’re loving the way they look, immediately toss them in sauce and dish up.

  6. Enjoy this over your preferred white rice, traditionally it is short grain Japanese rice.

  7. Drizzle with spicy Mayo, and sriracha, maybe Kicap Manis
