Fruit-Pecan Oatmeal

Ingrédients

1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats, or gluten-free oats

½ cup dried cherries (or other dried fruit)

2 cups whole milk

Sea salt

¼ cup toasted pecan pieces

2 teaspoons brown sugar

Instructions

1. In a small pot, combine the rolled oats, cherries, milk, and a small pinch of sea salt. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.

2. Reduce the heat to low, cover with a lid, and cook for 5 minutes, or until all the milk is absorbed and the oats are tender.

3. To serve, top with the toasted pecans and brown sugar.
