    Quick Pork Lo Mein

    Ingrédients

    ⅔ cup soy sauce

    4 cloves garlic minced

    1 tbsp sesame oil

    4 tbsp brown sugar

    2 tbsp fish sauce

    ½ tbsp rice wine vinegar

    1 tbsp cornstarch

    1 tbsp water

    2 pork chops sliced thinly

    1 carrot julienned

    1/2 yellow onion sliced thinly

    1 cup snap or snow peas

    1 cup broccoli florets

    3 green onions chopped

    1 package lo mein noodles

    3 tbsp canola oil

    1 tbsp sesame oil

    3 cloves garlic minced

    1 tbsp ginger grated or powdered

    Instructions

    In a small sauce pan add sesame oil and garlic over medium heat

    Once fragrant add soy sauce, fish sauce, and rice wine vinegar and bring to simmer

    Slowly add in the brown sugar and continue to whisk until the sugar has dissolved

    In a small bowl mix together cornstarch and water then slowly add to the sauce which continuly whisking to avoid any clumping

    Let sauce simmer another 3-5 minute and take off the heat

    Cook lo mein noodles according to directions on package and set aside

    In a large wok or saute pan add canola oil and sesame oil over medium to high heat

    Once oil is hot, add garlic and ginger and cook 1-2 minutes

    Add sliced pork to the hot oil and cook 3-5 minutes or until pork is cooked

    Throw in all the veggies to the wok and mix well

    Once the veggies have cooked through but are still holding a firmness slowly pour in your sauce

    Mix the veggies, pork, and sauce together to make sure everything is coated

    Little by little add the lo mein noodles to the wok and continue to mix together

    Remove from heat and serve with extra green onion as a garnish!
