Cheese Danish Pastries

4 ounces (1/2 an 8-ounce package) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
1 egg yolk
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, egg yolk, and lemon extract until well blended.
Unroll crescent roll dough and press dough perforations together to form one long rectangle. Spread cream cheese mixture over dough, leaving 1/2-inch edges.
Roll up dough jelly-roll-style, starting at one edge. Cut into 3/4-inch slices and place 2 inches apart on a lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake 10 to 13 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm.
