Martha Green's Potato Soup

1 (30 oz) bag of frozen hash browns
2 cans chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup green onion
1/4 tsp pepper
1 (18 oz) cream cheese
Instructions
Put all ingredients except the cream cheese in the crockpot for 5 hours on low.
30 minutes before serving, add the cream cheese to the crockpot and stir.
Serve with grated cheese and bacon bits on top.
