    Chinese Kabobs

    1 steak- flank or sirloin

    Black Pepper

    Garlic Powder

    3 t sugar

    1/2 t dry mustard

    1/3 c soy sauce

    1/3 c vegetable oil

    Pineapple chunks

    Large white onion, cut into 1” pieces

    Petunjuk

    1. Cut meat into 1” cubes and sprinkle with black pepper and garlic powder.

    2. Mix sugar, mustard, soy sauce and oil in bowl until dissolved.

    3. Marinate cubed steak in sauce at least 2 hrs up to overnight.

    4. Skewer meat with pineapple chunks and onions.

    5. Grill and enjoy!

    6. Serve with white rice (buttered- “Tills style”)

    Catatan

    This recipe, pronounced “Chinese kay-bobs” has always been Matt’s requested birthday meal. It is always a crowd-pleaser for summer dinner parties or special occasions.

    We typically double the recipe. People eat more of this than you would expect! It also makes great leftovers, particularly in scrambled eggs the next day.
