    Chicken

    Double Mustard–Marinated Chicken Drumsticks

    1/4 c. whole-grain mustard

    1/4 c. apple juice

    2 tbsp. white wine vinegar

    1 tbsp. olive oil

    1 medium yellow onion, sliced into 1/2-inch-thick rounds

    1 medium red onion, sliced into 1/2-inch-thick rounds

    12 small drumsticks (about 21/2 pounds)

    In glass measuring cup, whisk together mustards, apple juice, vinegar, oil and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Divide onions, chicken, and mustard marinade between 2 large resealable bags. Refrigerate at least 3 hours, up to 6 hours.

    Heat grill to medium-low. Remove chicken and onions from marinade (discard marinade). Grill chicken, covered, turning occasionally, until cooked through, 30 to 40 minutes.

    When chicken has 20 minutes left to cook, grill onions, turning occasionally, until tender and slightly charred, 15 to 20 minutes. Transfer chicken and onions to platter. Serve warm or at room temperature.
