Garlic Parmesan Chicken Bites (Air Fryer)

Chicken Bites:

15.5 oz (450 grams) boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 2), cut into one inch cubes

Kosher salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup all purpose flour

4 cups panko breadcrumbs

2 eggs

1 tbsp garlic powder

Nonstick spray, or oil in a spritzer bottle

Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

½ cup salted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, grated

2 tbsp parsley, chopped

1 tbsp lemon juice

¼ tsp red pepper flakes

¼ tsp black pepper

1 cup parmesan cheese, grated

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 390F.

  2. Season the chicken cubes with a generous amount of salt and pepper.

  3. Add the flour and panko bread crumbs each to a separate plate or shallow bowl. Crack the eggs into a separate bowl and beat them.

  4. Add the garlic powder to the breadcrumbs and stir to combine.

  5. It's time to bread your chicken! Coat each bite in the flour, then the eggs, then the breadcrumbs. Shake off the excess after each step!

  6. Place the chicken bites in your air fryer and make sure they aren't touching. Give the bites a light spritz of oil and air-fry for 10-12 minutes (or until they reach an internal temperature of 165F), flipping once halfway through cooking. If you have a smaller air fryer, you might have to cook the bites in separate batches. Place the bites waiting to be cooked in the fridge.

  7. Add the chicken bites to a bowl and toss them with the garlic butter and parmesan. Enjoy!

Garlic Parmesan Sauce

  1. In a small bowl combine the butter, garlic, parsely, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, a black pepper.

  2. Pour the garlic butter over the chicken bites and toss to coat.

  3. Sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the chicken bites and toss them again until all the bites are coated. Serve and enjoy!
