    Creamy Chicken Pies

    1 chicken breast, diced

    1 leek, thinly chopped

    1/2 onion, diced

    1 TSP garlic

    1 TBSP oregano

    Cracked black pepper

    1 TBSP plain flour

    100ml low salt chicken stock

    100ml double cream

    Large handful of peas

    1 roll of ready rolled puff pastry

    Egg/milk for washing

    1. Preheat oven to 180c and line a baking tray with baking paper

    2. Fry off your chicken, onion, leeks and garlic until browned before adding your oregano, black pepper, flour, stock, double cream and peas and simmer for around 5 minutes until thickened

    3. Roll out your pastry and cut out 12 equal size circles before spooning your mixture onto 6 of them. Top with the other pastry before brushing with egg/milk.

    4. We cut out stars with the excess pastry and popped on top, pop a few holes in the top to let steam out and cook for around 18-20 mins in the oven.
