    Thai Style Chicken with Black Pepper and Basil – Recipe Belo

    600g chicken breasts, sliced into very thin strips

    1 tbsp light soy sauce

    The juice of ½ a lime

    1 tbsp corn flour

    ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda

    3 tbsp neutral oil

    4 cloves garlic, finely chopped

    2 tbsp oyster sauce

    1 tbsp sriracha

    1 tbsp fish sauce

    2 tsp dark soy sauce

    1 tsp freshly ground black pepper

    A large bunch of roughly chopped Thai basil leaves

    Pop the chicken into a mixing bowl and add light soy, lime juice, corn flour and bicarbonate of soda and mix well.

    Heat the oil in a large frying pan over a high heat. Add the garlic and stir-fry for 10 seconds until fragrant. Add the chicken and stir-fry for 5-6 minutes or until cooked through and a little golden.

    Chuck in the oyster sauce, sriracha, fish sauce, dark soy, black pepper and basil. Stir-fry for a minute until the chicken is coated and serve immediately with rice.
