Texas Sheet Cake

Ingredienser

Cake:

2 Cups sugar

2 Cups flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 Cup butter or margarine

1 Cup water

4 Tablespoons cocoa

2 eggs

1/2 Cup sour cream

1 teaspoon baking soda

Icing:

1 Cup butter

6 Tablespoons milk

4 Tablespoons cocoa

4 Cups powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

(Optional) chopped nuts

Fremgangsmåte

Cake:

In a pan, boil water, butter, and cocoa together

In a mixing bowl, cimbine flour and sugar

Add the water mixture to the flour mixture

Add eggs, salt, sour cream, and baking soda

Mix well (the batter is very thing)

Pour into well-greased cookie sheet

Bake at 375 for 22-25 minutes

Icing:

In a large pan over medium heat add butter, milk and cocoa

Bring to boil

Remove heat

Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and nuts

Mix until smooth

Pour over warm cake (it will set as it cools)
