    Banana Bread

    Ingredienser

    3 large very ripe bananas (4-5 small)

    ½ cup butter

    1 cup granulated sugar

    2 large eggs (lightly beaten)

    2 cups all-purpose flour

    1 tsp baking soda

    ½ tsp salt

    Fremgangsmåte

    Preheat the oven to 350°F.

    In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar and eggs.

    Mash bananas with a fork until the consistency of applesauce.

    Add remaining ingredients and blend with spoon.

    Bake in well greased loaf pans about 1 hour at 350 F (55 minutes with 2 small pans at 325-350 F) until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

    Let banana bread rest for 10 min before transferring to a wire rack to cool.

    Notater

    09/30/2022: Baked at 325 for 45 mins in 3 metal bread pans and bread was perfect. 805 oven.

    02/10/2021: Baked at 325 for 40 mins and was slightly overdone. 15108 oven.
