    Ingrediënten

    For the Chicken Patties:

    – 1 lb. 93% Lean Ground Turkey

    – 3 Cloves Garlic, minced

    – 2 Scallions, sliced

    – 1/4 Cup Fresh Basil Leaves, roughly chopped

    – 1 Thai Chili, minced (or sub 1/2 jalapeño seeds removed)

    – 1/2 tablespoon mushroom umami powder

    – 1 Lime, juice

    – 1/4 tsp Kosher Salt

    – 1/4 tsp Pepper

    – 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil

    For the Slaw:

    – 1 Lime, juice

    – 1 Tbsp rice wine Vinegar

    – 1/2 head cabbage, shredded

    – 2 tablespoons mayo

    – 2 scallions, chopped

    – 1/2 cup chopped cilantro

    For the Burgers:

    – 3 buns of choice

    – Cucumber, sliced thin

    – Basil Leaves, for garnish

    – Avocado, sliced

    Sauce

    – Mayo

    – Sriracha

    – Ketchup

    – Sesame Oil

    Instructies

    1. Make the slaw: Mix together ingredients; set aside

    2. Add all the ingredients for the patties to a bowl and mix; form into 3 burger patties with your hands

    3. Preheat a large pan over medium heat and add 1 Tbsp oil; place the burger patties in the pan (use hands to push down into pan) and cook 3-4 mins per side (until golden brown and released from pan), cook until internal temp reaches 165F

    4. Toast buns cut side up under the broiler for 1-2 mins until golden brown and serve with the patties, sliced cucumber, slaw, and basil on top - enjoy!
