    Spaghetti Agilo e Olio

    1lb thin spaghetti noodles

    1/3 cup olive oil

    8 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

    1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped

    1 1/2 cup reserved pasta water

    1 tsp salt

    1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

    1/2 cup parmesan cheese

    Cook your pasta according to package, reserving 1 1/2 cups pasta water. Give pasta a generous drizzle of olive oil to avoid noodles sticking together.

    In a pan, add your olive oil and sliced garlic, cook for about 2 minutes, stirring frequently.

    To the same pan pour in your reserved pasta water, red pepper flakes and salt, simmer for 5 minutes.

    Add the pasta to the olive oil sauce, let cook together for a few minutes while tossing. Add in parsley and parmesan.

    Plate your pasta and sprinkle with extra salt and pepper!
