Mexican Swizzle Sticks

1 c butter
1 1/2 c confectioners sugar
1 egg
1 t vanilla
2 1/2 c flour
3 oz unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 t cinnamon
Glaze:
1 c confectioners sugar
4 oz unsweetened chocolate, melted
4-6 t milk
Cinnamon, chili powder to taste
Pinch of salt
Instruções
Mix butter, sugar, egg and vanilla throughly. Blend in flour. Add melted chocolate and cinnamon; mix well. With star plate in cookie press, form 4” fingers on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375° for 5-7 min or until set. Cool. To make glaze: thoroughly combine sugar, chocolate and milk with pinch of salt. Add cinnamon and chili to taste. Drizzle cookies with glaze. Sprinkle with colored sugar.
