Thai Basil ‘beef’ Wraps

Ingredientes

1 tbsp veg oil

1 package of vegan beef

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp ginger powder

1 tbsp Chinese 5 spice

2 tbsp soy sauce

1/4 cup sweet chilli sauce

2 tbsp seasoned rice vinegar

1 tbsp peanut butter

2 tbsp chives, sliced

2 cups cilantro, washed and roughly chopped

1 cup basil, washed and roughly chopped

1 cucumber, finely diced

Large Flour tortillas

Spicy mayo, optional

Instruções

In a large pan, add 1 tbsp veg oil and heat over medium heat. Add the vegan beef and cook for a few minutes.

Add the garlic, ginger powder, Chinese 5 spice and stir to combine. I also threw in some leftover pickled ginger packs from leftover takeout sushi.

Add the soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, seasoned rice vinegar and peanut butter. Stir to combine and help lift off any stuck on bits from the pan. Stir in chives. Set aside.

Warm you’re flour tortillas and build your wraps by placing the meat, cucumber, cilantro, basil and spicy mayo. Wrap tightly and dig in!
