    Canned Fruit Cobbler (Betty Crocker)

    Ingredientes

    **MIX:

    1/2 c. sugar

    1 tbsp. cornstarch

    2 1/2 c. (#2 can) canned fruit or berries & juice (use cherries, peaches, apricots or blackberries, etc.)

    **DOT WITH:

    Butter

    Cinnamon

    **SIFT TOGETHER:

    1 c. sifted flour

    1 tbsp. sugar

    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

    1/2 tsp. salt

    3 tbsp. shortening

    **ADD:

    1/2 c. milk

    Instruções

    PRHEAT:Bake to 400 degrees. And bake for 25 to 30 minutes

    1. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Stir in gradually 2 1/2 cups fruit and juice. Bring to boil and boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Pour into Red Lecruset baking dish and dot with butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

    2. Sift together flour, 1 tablespoon sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening with pastry blender until mixture looks like meal. Stir in milk. Drop by spoonfuls onto hot fruit mixture. en
