Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta

  • 2 6oz cans of clams

  • 8 cloves garlic

  • 1/2 cup cream

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp flour

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1 tbsp anchovy paste

  • 2 cups chicken stock

  • 2 tbsp oregano

  • 1/2 cup parmesan

  • red pepper flakes

Directions

  1. Fry the garlic in butter until soft

  2. Add red pepper flakes, tomato paste, and anchovy paste and fry for 2 minutes

  3. Add flour, fry for another minute

  4. Add chicken stock

  5. Add cream and clam juice

  6. Reduce until thick

  7. Add clams, oregano, parm, and pasta

  • experiment with adding white wine
