High Protein Creamy Philly Cheesesteak Mac N Cheese

800g Raw Beef Mince (I use topside/top round beef)

20g Grass Fed Butter (For cooking)

1 Tbsp Minced Garlic

1 Medium Onion Chopped

1/2 Each Red/Green/Yellow Bell Peppers (You can use any)

1 ½ Tsp each Salt, Pepper, Paprika, Chilli Flakes

140g Light Cream Cheese

50g Mozzarella

3 Light Cheese Slices (19g Each)

125ml Pasta Water

240g Uncooked Macaroni / 560g Cooked Macaroni

Directions

1. First make your pasta, reserve 125mL pasta water and set aside cooked pasta.

In large sauté pan, melt butter. Then add the garlic, chopped onions and bell peppers and cook until soft ~3-5 minutes.

2. Add the ground beef and add seasonings: salt, pepper, paprika, and chili flakes. Cook until beef is browned. ~ 8 minutes

3. Add cream cheese, mozzarella, 3 cheese slices, and 125mL pasta water.

4. Mix until creamy. Then add cooked pasta.

5. Distribute into 4 servings

NOTES***Cook the Macaroni first in boiling water then remove some pasta water to use later in the recipe

Cook the onions and bell peppers for 5-6 mins till fragrant and soft before adding the beef

You can either remove the veg when cooking the beef or make a well in the middle like shown in the video

Make sure you cook the beef thoroughly before adding the cream cheese

Lower the heat once you start making it creamy
