White Chocolate Bread Pudding

Ingredients:
3 C. whole milk
3 whole eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C. sugar
4 Tbsp. butter, melted
6 C. stale French bread, cubed
¾ C. white chocolate
1 tsp. cinnamon nutmeg, pinch
2 Tbsp. Sweet Treat
Hard Sauce
Ingredients:
8 Tbsp. butter (1 stick)
1 ½ C. powdered sugar
2 egg yolks
½ C. rum
Directions
Procedure:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a mixing bowl, add milk, eggs, vanilla, sugar, and melted butter. Whis together until combined.
2. Break or cut stale French bread into small chunks and add to the bowl of wet ingredients. Gently P bread down into liquid, occasionally stirring the mixture gently so as not to mash the bread. Allow t soak for 10-15 minutes.
3. Gently fold white chocolate, cinnamon, and nutmeg until combined.
4. Pour into a 9x12 baking dish, spray baking dish prior to adding mixture. Shake an even layer of Su Treat over the top of the bread pudding.Place in the oven and bake for 30-45 minutes, or until the golden brown and the custard is fully set.
5. Serve warm with hard sauce.
Hard Sauce
Procedures:
1. Cream butter and sugar over medium heat until butter is absorbed.
2. Remove from heat, blend in egg yolk.
3. Add rum gradually, stir constantly.
4. Sauce will thicken as it cools, and serve warm over bread pudding.
Notes:For a variety of sauces, just substitute your favorite whiskey instead of
