Peach Cobbler - Mom

6-8 peaches
1 1/2 - 1 3/4 cups sugar
1 cup self-rising flour
1 beaten egg
4 Tbs butter
Directions
Cut up peaches and place in bottom of 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 - 3/4 cup sugar and 1/2 tsp lemon juice. Stir.
Mix together 1 cup sugar, 1 cup self-rising flour and 1 beaten egg. Sprinkle mixture over peaches.
Drizzle 4 Tbs melted butter over top. Do not stir.
Bake at 350* about 40 minutes
