Ingredients

Canola oil, for the baking sheets

3 pounds chicken wings, seperated at joints

Cola Barbecue Sauce

2 scallions, green and white parts, chopped

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Prepare two rimmed baking sheets with canola oil.

Arrange the wings on the baking sheets, taking care not to overlap.

Bake, shaking the pan twice during cooking or turning the wings with tongs, until they are deeply browned, about 20 mintues.

Brush each wing with the sauce and bake 5 to 8 minutes more.

Arrange the wings on a platter and garnish with the scallions. Serve hot or at room temperature, with lots of napkins.

Notes

Dolly says: "Eat these with your hands and when you're done, lick every finger to be sure you don't waste a bit of the sauce. These wings are good'n'messy, which is the way they oughta be, and you'll never have any left over, so make a double batch if you're planning to bring them to the picnic or potluck."
