Bánh sữa tươi chiên – Deep-fried custard

4 eggs
3 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp corn starch
400 ml milk
all purpose flour (low protein, no bleached)
bread crumbs
Directions
Separate the 2 eggs and gather the yolks in a saucepan, saving the whites for later use. Add 3 tbsp sugar and beat well to partially dissolve the sugar
Add 3 tbsp corn starch and 400ml milk. Stir to dissolve completely and bring to the stove
While stirring constantly, bring it to a boil from about 7-10 minutes.
Grease a container and pour the custard into it. Place a piece of plastic wrap right on top. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
Cut into 2-inch cubes. Crack 2 more eggs in the remaining egg white. Beat well.
Roll the custard cube over some flour.
Submerge in the egg mixture and then to the bread crumbs.
Deep fry till golden brown on all sides
It's best served with chilli sauce. Enjoy!
