Granny’s French Mint Chocolate Pie

Ingredients

1 9-inch graham cracker crust

1&½ sticks butter

1&½ c. powdered sugar

3 oz. (3 wrapped sqs.) unsweetened chocolate (Bakers), melted

3 eggs (can use Egg Beaters for 2 of the eggs)

8-10 drops peppermint extract (about ½ tsp.)

Whipped topping:

Heavy Whipping cream

powdered sugar

Directions

Cream together the butter and sugar.

Add the melted chocolate, eggs and peppermint extract. Beat ingredients well.

Pour into crust.

Chill thoroughly (2 hours min).

Top with whipped cream.

Whipped Topping

Place the heavy cream and powdered sugar in the bowl of your stand mixer. Using the whisk attachment beats until stiff peaks form. Spread the whipped topping over the chilled.
