Milk Chocolate Cake

1/2 cup butter or oleo
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
2 cups cake flour (Henkles Vel- • vet Pastry flour)
Mix together:
1 T. vinegar
1 tsp. soda
2 squares bitter chocolate
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp vanilla
Directions
• Cream butter and sugar and then add 1 egg and beat 2 min- utes. Add 2nd egg and beat 2
minutes Add milk and flour alternating; 2 cups cake flour (Henkles Vel- • starting and ending with flour • Add melted chocolate and lastly add the soda and vinegar
mixed. • Bake in 2 layers at 375° for 25 minutes and frost with Butter
Cream frosting and drip with
mint chocolate chips.
