Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips

Directions
Step 1: Prepare the Bananas
Peel the bananas and slice them thinly and evenly (about 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick).
Try to keep the slices uniform in size so they cook evenly.
Place the banana slices in a mixing bowl.
Step 2: Prevent Browning
Drizzle the lemon juice over the banana slices and gently toss to coat them evenly.
This step is important as it helps prevent the bananas from turning brown too quickly.
Step 3: Coat with Cinnamon-Sugar Mixture
In a small bowl, mix together the sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
Drizzle the melted coconut oil over the banana slices and gently toss them to coat.
Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the bananas, making sure each slice is well covered.
Step 4: Arrange in the Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd them, as they need space for air circulation.
Step 5: Air Fry Until Crispy
Air fry at 300°F (150°C) for 12–15 minutes, flipping the slices halfway through.
The banana chips should be golden brown and crispy when done. If they are still soft, continue air frying in 2-3 minute increments until they reach the desired crispiness.
