Chile Verde Tostadas

Ingredients

1 package Del Real Chile Verde

1 tablespoon Mexican oregano

1/2 teaspoon cumin (optional)

12-14 tostada shells or thin corn tortillas

1-2 cups refried beans

1-2 cups cheese (I used crumbled Queso Fresco)

freshly chopped cilantro

Directions

Heat Chile Verde according to instructions.

To bake own tostada shell, simply spread a thin layer of oil on both sides of corn tortillas and bake each side in the oven for 4-5 minutes (400F). Drizzle a small amount of oil across the tortillas and then spread it around with my fingers.

Warm up the refried beans in a skillet over medium heat. And if using store-bought tostada shells be sure to warm those up before serving.

Each warm tostada shell gets a thin layer of refried beans, a few tablespoons of Chicken Chile Verde, cheese, freshly chopped cilantro, and a final squeeze of lime. Yum!!
