Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 Tablespoon baking powder

2 teaspoon sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup milk (buttermilk works too)

1/2 cup butter (melted)

2 Tablespoons butter (melted)

Directions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Lightly grease or spray a baking sheet. Set aside.

In a large bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Mix in the butter and milk until just barely combined.

Using 2 spoons, scoop and drop balls of batter onto the prepared baking sheet. Leave about 2 inches between each biscuit.

Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden brown.

Remove from oven and immediately brush with melted butter.
