total timeIngredients
1 lb ground pork (other forms of ground meat also work!)
¼ C breadcrumb
¼ C milk
2 tbsp soy sauce
¼ tsp black pepper
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp sesame oil
1 egg
1 tbsp olive oil (your preferred cooking oil)
4 tbsp garlic (minced)
4 tbsp soy sauce
4 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp sugar
Directions
Prepare your air fryer basket by lightly greasing the basket with cooking oil (or cooking spray).
Mix together all the Meatball ingredients. Roll the pork into meatballs of about 1 inch to 1½ inch diameter. This should make 12-16 meatballs.
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for a minute or so. Then air fry the meatballs for about 8 minutes. I usually flip/turn the meatballs and then air fry for about another 5 minutes for a more even browning. If using a meat thermometer, the temperature should reach at least 160°F.
While the meatballs are in the air fryer, make the sauce! In a small sauce pan over medium heat, add the olive oil. Saute the minced garlic for 30 seconds or so until it's fragrant. Add in the soy sauce, ketchup, and sugar and cook until the sauce thickens (about 1-2 minutes).
After the meatballs are done, toss them in the sauce. Serve & enjoy!
