Japanese BBQ Sauce

1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup mirin
1/4 cup sake
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tablespoon ginger (grated)
Directions
Combine soy sauce, mirin, sake, brown sugar, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a saucepan over medium heat.
Stir occasionally and bring the mixture to a simmer.
Allow the sauce to simmer for 10 minutes or until it thickens slightly, then remove from heat and let cool.
