Cream Cheese and Bacon Stuffed Doritos Recipe

1 bag of Doritos (Nacho Cheese or your favorite flavor)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
2 green onions, finely chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Oil for frying (if deep-frying)
Directions
Prepare the Filling:
In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, shredded cheddar, crumbled bacon, green onions, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper until smooth and well combined.
Stuff the Doritos:
Carefully open one edge of each Dorito chip to create a pocket. Be gentle to avoid breaking the chip.
Spoon or pipe a small amount of the cream cheese mixture into the pocket, then press the edges lightly to seal.
Fry or Bake:
Frying Option:
Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C). Fry the stuffed Doritos in small batches for 1-2 minutes until golden and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain.
Baking Option:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the stuffed Doritos on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until the filling is warm and the chips are slightly crisped.
Serve:
Arrange the stuffed Doritos on a platter and serve immediately. They’re great on their own or paired with ranch, sour cream, or salsa for dipping.
