Naughty Potatoes

Ingredients
5 lbs Potatoes
1 Medium Onion, finely sliced
2 Clove Garlic, finely chopped
2 TBsp Coriander Seeds, lightly crushed
3 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
Salt & Pepper
2 T butter
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 425 deg.
2. Peel the potatoes and slice finely using a mandolin
3. Soak the potatoes in large bowl of cold water 10 min.
4. Butter a large gratin dish
5. Drain the potatoes and dry in a tea towel
6. Place a layer of pot. in gratin dish, season with salt & pepper.
7. Sprinkle a little onion, garlic and coriander seeds onto the potatoes.
8. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are utilized.
9. Pour over the cream and bake in oven for about 45 min. 10. Remove from oven, cover with aluminium foil and rest for 10 min. before serving. Source: John Stimpson
