Ingredients

4-6 Tenderized Cubed or Round Steaks

2-3 cups Cooking Oil

1 tbs each Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Salt and Pepper

1 cup All purpose flour

1 tbs each Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Salt and Pepper

2 Eggs

1/4 cup Heavy Cream

Same seasonings as above

2 tbs of the grease leftover in the pan

3 tbs Butter

1/3 cup flour

6 cups whole milk

Salt and Pepper

Directions

In a dish, mix together the dry ingredients, then in another dish, mix the wet ingredients.

Dredge the steaks in the dry ingredients, then the wet, and back into the dry. Be sure to press firmly in the dry ingredients to ensure the breading sticks.

In a deep skillet, bring the cooking oil to 375 degrees.

Fry the steaks for 5-7 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temp of 165 degrees. Drain on a wire rack

Reserve about 2 tbs of the grease and add 3 tbs of butter, making sure to scrape up the bits off the bottom of the pan.

Once the butter is melted, whisk in the flour and let that cook down for about 3 minutes.

Whisk in the milk and stir continuously until it comes to a boil and thickens up. It will also thicken up upon being removed from the heat. Season with salt and pepper.
