MAIN DISH Spaghetti Sauce

– 1 pound 90/10 ground beef
– 1 pound, spicy Italian sausage
– 1 package 16 ounce sliced mushrooms
– 1 green bell pepper
– 1 medium onion
– 10 cloves garlic
– 28 ounce crushed tomatoes
– 24 ounce tomato sauce
– 12 ounce tomato paste
– 1/4 teaspoon oregano
– 1/4 teaspoon basil
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan
– 1 tablespoon parsley
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 2 teaspoons sugar
Directions
– Sauté all veggies in extra-virgin olive oil
– Brown all meat (you can make the sausage into meatballs if you want to, but it is not mandatory).
– Combine all ingredients together
– Bring to a boil
– Reduce heat to a simmer
– Simmer for hours… The longer the better
– Stir occasionally
