Mom's Taffy Apply Salad

Ingredients

1 – 20 oz can crushed pineapple

2 cups mini marshmallows

½ cup sugar

1 egg beaten well

1 Tbsp flour

1½ Tbsp white vinegar

1 – 8 oz cool whip

3 cups diced granny smith apples

1½ cups unsalted dry roasted peanuts

Directions

Day before: Drain pineapple & save. Mix juice with marshmallows, sugar, eggs, flour, and vinegar. Heat to boiling, then cool and refrigerate overnight. The following day, combine all ingredients together pineapple, cool whip, apples, peanuts and syrup. Refrigerate 6-8 hours before serving.
