1 lb. Brussels sprouts, cleaned
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon sea salt, or as needed
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
½ teaspoon Chipotle Chili powder or chili powder
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 teaspoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon honey
Directions
Trim the ends off the Brussels sprouts. Slice them in half through the stems. For larger ones, cut them into quarters. Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, if preheating is needed.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the BRUSSELS SPROUTS with OLIVE OIL, GARLIC and SALT. Toss everything together until evenly coated.
Place the seasoned Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (cooking at this high temperature for a shorter time is crucial for getting that desired crispiness) and air fry for 10-15 minutes (start checking for doneness after 10 minutes). Shake the basket at least twice while roasting for even crisping.
In a small bowl, mix together melted BUTTER, CHILI POWDER, SMOKED PAPRIKA, SALT, RED PEPPER FLAKES, HONEY, and MAPLE SYRUP.
Remove the Brussels sprouts from the air fryer and transfer them to a bowl. Toss with the sauce.
Serve immediately.
Enjoy
