    Southern Pineapple Sunshine Cake – a Bright & Refreshing Des

    1 box yellow cake mix

    4 cups milk, divided

    ½ cup vegetable oil

    3 large eggs

    20 oz can crushed pineapple

    1 cup white sugar

    5 ⅒ oz box instant vanilla pudding mix

    8 oz Cool Whip, thawed

    ½ cup chopped pecans

    ½ cup sweetened shredded coconut

    Instrucțiuni

    Bake the Cake – Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix cake mix with 1 cup milk, oil, and eggs. Pour into a greased 9×13-inch pan and bake for 30-45 minutes. Let cool slightly.

    Make the Pineapple Layer – In a saucepan, heat crushed pineapple and sugar until sugar dissolves. Pour over warm cake, allowing juices to soak in. Let cool completely.

    Prepare Pudding Layer – Whisk remaining 3 cups milk with instant vanilla pudding until thick. Spread over cooled pineapple layer.

    Final Touches – Spread Cool Whip over the pudding layer. Sprinkle with pecans and shredded coconut.

    Chill & Serve – Refrigerate until fully chilled. Slice and enjoy!
