Grandma Mae’s Polish Kolockies

½ lb butter, softened
1 (8 oz) package of cream cheese, softened
3 cups flour
2 Tbsp powdered sugar
Nut Filling:
1 lb ground nuts, pecans
3 eggs
½ cup white sugar
1 cup honey
¾ cup milk
Postup
Whip butter and cream cheese. Add flour and powdered sugar; mix well. Roll dough thin on a floured board. Using a 'fancy rolling cutter,' cut into 2-inch squares. Put nut filling in each and squeeze opposite ends together. Bake similar to cookies at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Nut Filling: Mix all ingredients and cook on low for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool well before using.
Poznámky
Make sure the dough is rolled thin or they puff up too much.
