    1 cup warm water

    1tbsp active dry yeast

    1/2 tbsp sugar

    4 cups of flour

    2tsp kosher salt

    3/4 tsp baking soda

    3/4 tsp baking powder

    3/4 cup plain yogurt

    1/4 cup olive oil

    6-10 garlic cloves

    handful of chopped cilantro

    butter topping:

    1/2 cup of butter, melted

    1tbps garlic powder

    3tbsp of freshly chopped cilantro

    combine warm water, yeast and sugar. let rest for 10 minutes.

    add in the rest of the ingredients and knead by hand or in stand mixer for 10-15 minutes

    in a floured bowl let it rest for about an hour or hour and a half until it has doubled in size

    seperate the dough into 14 smaller dough balls

    let rise for 15 minutes

    roll out naan and let it rest for another 10 minutes

    heat a cast iron pan with NO OIL for about 5 minutes

    cook each naan for about 2 minutes each side

    coat with butter topping and place in a warm oven until ready to eat
