Candied pecans

16 oz pecan halves
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 large or jumbo egg white
1 tsp water
1/2 tsp vanilla

1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
2. In a small mixing bowl, combine the sugars, cinnamon, and salt and mix with a fork. Set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl add the egg white, water, and vanilla and whisk until pretty frothy.
4. Add pecans and mix with a spatula until well coated with the liquid mixture. Pour sigar mixture all ocer pecans and coat well.
5. Line a large cookie sheet. Pour your pecans on the sheet and try to flatten them to a single later.
6. Bake pecans for a total of 40 minutes but take out of the oven and stir every 10 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before putting them in an airtight container or ziploc.
