    Homemade Vegan Onion Bhajis

    Nguyên liệu

    • 7tbsp flour

    • 4 small brown onions or 2 large brown onions

    • 1tbsp ground cumin

    • 1/2 tsp salt

    • 1tsp garlic granules

    • 1tsp chilli powder

    Hướng dẫn

    1. Slice onion into thin strips

    2. Mix flour with spices

    3. Slowly add water to the mix until you get a thick, but not tough, batter is formed

    4. Add the sliced onions to coat them in the batter

    5. Heat veg oil to 190C

    6. Cook each bhaji for 2 mins each side or until brown & crispy

    7. Drain off excess oil on kitchen towel or a rack

    8. Serve with raita (crème fraiche/ yoghurt mixed with dried mint, splash of lemon juice, salt & grated cucumber)
