4 cups flour

3 T Sugar

1 1/2 tsp. salt

1 cup shortening

1 T yeast

1/2 cup warm water

3 egg yolks, beaten

1 cup milk scalded

1 cup cream

1 cup sugar

3 eggs

3 T flour

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp salt

步骤

Soften yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Cut shortening into dry ingredients. Add cooled milk and egg yolks and yeast. Let rise until double. Press dough into pie pans, quite thin.

Make only as many as your oven will hold, otherwise dough raises

Put fruit such as apricots, peaches, prunes, apples, dates, raisins or cottage cheese in pie pan.

Pour the cream mixture over fruit. Sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. May need more cream mixture. Makes 4-5 kuchens. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
