    Goya's Colombian Style Beans

    2 cans (15.5oz) Goya Roman Beans, drained

    1 carrot, peeled and finely diced

    1 potato, peeled and finely diced

    1 teaspoon minced garlic, or 2 cloves fresh garlic, crushed

    1 green plantain, peeled and diced

    1/2 cup Goya Sofrito

    1 packet Goya Sazón with Cilantro and Annatto

    2 teaspoons Goya ADobo with Pepper

    4oz tomato sauce

    2 cups water or ham broth

    1. In a small pot, boil water with a pinch of salt and cook carrot, potato, garlic and plantain for 20 minutes, or until all vegetables are tender. Drain water.

    2. Add beans, Adobo, Sofrito, Sazón, and 2 cups of water (or ham broth). Cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until desired consistency. Add more water, if too thick.

    3. Service with rice on side.
