    Sweet And Sour Thai Style Salad

    2 tablespoons coconut sugar

    ¼ cup freshly squeezed lime juice

    2 cloves garlic, minced

    3 tablespoons fish sauce

    1 red chile, seeded and thinly sliced

    ½ cup halved cherry tomatoes

    1 (12-ounce) package broccoli slaw

    1 small kohlrabi or jicama, peeled and shredded

    1 cup mung bean sprouts

    3 green onions, white and tender green parts, thinly sliced

    ½ cup chopped fresh Thai basil leaves

    2 tablespoons chopped toasted cashews

    In a large bowl, combine the sugar, lime juice, garlic, fish sauce, and chile and mash the ingredients together with the back of a spoon or a muddler.

    Add the tomatoes and crush slightly to release their juices. Stir in the broccoli slaw, kohlrabi, bean sprouts, green onions, and basil. Top with the cashews and serve.
